I treat acrylic and oil similarly in terms of application. Pieces done in these two media tend to have a textured, post-impressionistic flair. These paintings are meant to be an interpretation of the subject, not a direct photo-realistic copy. I love color, texture, and limited pallets.
Rich, textured, interpretive.
This is one of my most popular styles, inspired by classic artwork in children's stories. Watercolor paint and india ink come together to create a whimsical, storybook feel--like your pet came right out of a book from your childhood.
Fun, light, playful.
Graphite portraits are a mix of graphite and Ebony pencils, as well as archival quality ink for highlights. These take a long time to draw due to the highly detailed nature, and are great if you like photorealism. Photos that have a lot of contrast and detail look really great in graphite.
Detailed, precise, timeless.
